Update July 13, 2011. We received the photos and information from Charles’ son Lee.
Charles did indeed do a great job on the restoration of this great G Code ’62 Galaxie.
This was my father’s car and I now own it after his passing in March of 2010.
My father lived for these old fords and I love them too.
I still have our 1967 Fairlane A/S Stock Eliminator Drag Car. Got all kinds of parts too.
I just don’t want to let this old 500 XL get lost in time. It really is a nice car. He did a great job on the restoration.

Comments: Vehicle is in very good condition and is a survivor, original exterior/interior

Interior is mint with original spare tire. This car is reported to be a one of
a kind due to the color/trim combination. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.

Registry Comment: Most any trim code interior was used with the Black exterior paint so the
reported “one of a kind” is doubtful but anything is possible. If this was
a special order color combination we would expect that there would have been a DSO number.

installed a straight bar, aluminum grille, Sun Super Tach on console and Chrome reverse wheels.
